Hearts of Oak, one of the biggest teams in the Ghana Premier League, has fired head coach Martin Koopman due to the team’s dismal performance.

On Tuesday, November 14, 2023, the Accra-based side in a statement sighted by Kapitalradio971.com said that assistant manager Abdul Rahim Bashir will temporarily assume leadership of the first team.

Koopman was named Hearts’ manager in August, but failed to meet the anticipated desires of the famous club.

In the Ghana Premier League this season, the Phobians have only won two games and scored six goals in ten games.
