AFCON 2023- Ivory Coast National Security Council receives the CAN Security plan

The CAN Security plan was presented to the National Security Council of Ivory Coast on Thursday.

2,500 stewards from Police and Gendarmerie Schools will be mobilized in Abidjan, Bouake, Korhogo, San Pedro and Yamoussoukro to beef up security in all corners of the AFCON zones.

In a bid to ensure excellent organisational and security conditions, 17,000 of the Defense and Security Forces will be deployed throughout the AFCON zones.

Ivory Coast is finalising its preparations to ensure a historic AFCON as all is almost set for the much anticipated AFCON 2023.

The competition commences on 13th January and ends on 11th February.
